Jaw crusher working principles
The working mode of jaw crusher is through bending, wring and squeezing. The working principles of it can be described as below. The electromotor drives the strap and the pulley to make the moving jaw move up and down through eccentric shaft. The angle between the toggle plate and the moving jaw will become larger when the moving jaw rises, thus pushing the moving jaw plate close to the stationary jaw plate. At the same time, materials are crushed or split into pieces, which makes the purpose of crush achieved.
In contrast, when the moving jaw runs down, the angle between the toggle plate and the moving jaw will instead become smaller, then the moving jaw plate departs from the stationary jaw plate under the effect of draw bar and spring. At this moment, crushed materials discharge from the end opening of crushing cavity. The moving jaw of the crusher will make periodic motion to crush and discharge materials with the continuous rotation of the electromotor. Thereby, the mass production can be achieved.
